PhotoHopping

PhotoHopping

A project which I was brought on during the midpoint in order to make sure it met its expected launch date, my responsibilities included the product info at the bottom of the page, the fallback for IE, the alternative effects for mobile, as well as optimization, and analytics. In addition, I helped the principal developer of the project work out how the 3D transformed tiles would align, as well as assisting him in the control and construction of the cube which contained the experience.

The project itself fed off Instagram images to create virtual photo trips based on a user’s interests and set to music, allowing users to see how people photograph the interest in question all over the world.

It was one of the first major projects where CSS 3D transforms were the showpiece, and it made heavy use of CSS transitions and animations.
